Privacy policy
Last updated: 07/28/2026
This policy explains what Celaza does with information about you. It covers this website and any email we send you. Plain language throughout — if something here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
Who is responsible
The business responsible for your information is Celaza, at 781 Prospect Valley Rd, Brooktondale, NY 14817, United States. Questions about privacy go to support@celaza.com.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and telephone number when you place an order. The content of any message you send us.
- Payment information. Handled by our payment providers, not by us. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last few digits of the card.
- Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how long you spend on them, and the site that referred you.
- Advertising identifiers. Where you have accepted marketing cookies, the identifiers those cookies place on your device, and a record of which advertisement brought you here.
- Marketing preferences. Whether you have asked to receive email from us, and whether you have since asked us to stop.
Why we use it
- To take, process and deliver your order, and to keep you informed while it is in transit.
- To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
- To understand which parts of the site work and which do not, so we can improve them.
- To measure whether our advertising is working, and — where you have accepted marketing cookies — to show you advertising elsewhere that is more relevant to you.
- To send marketing email, but only where you have asked us to.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
Who else sees it
We share the minimum necessary with the companies that make this store function: our ecommerce platform, our payment processors, the carriers who deliver your parcel, our email provider, and our analytics tools. Each of these acts on our instructions and is not permitted to use your information for its own purposes.
Separately, and only where you have accepted marketing cookies, we work with advertising platforms — the networks that run the advertisements you may have seen for us. These platforms receive limited information such as a device or cookie identifier and the pages you viewed on this site, and they may combine it with information they already hold in order to measure our advertising and to show you relevant advertising on other websites. Unlike the providers above, they act for their own purposes as well as ours. The section below explains how to stop this.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Selling, sharing and targeted advertising
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent it.
We do need to be straight with you about one thing. Sharing information with advertising platforms in the way described above is treated by several US state privacy laws — including California's — as a "sale", "sharing", or "targeted advertising", even though no money changes hands. We would rather say so plainly than rely on a technicality.
You can opt out at any time, and it takes about ten seconds. Any of these routes works:
- Open Cookie settings, reachable from every page, and switch marketing cookies off.
- Browse with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled in your browser. Where you are in a state whose law recognizes that signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for the browser and device you are using.
- Email support@celaza.com and ask us to opt you out. We confirm within 24 hours on business days.
Whichever route you take, the effect is the same: no marketing cookies, and nothing shared with advertising platforms. Opting out will never result in worse service, a slower reply, or a higher price. Our Cookie Policy sets out each cookie category in more detail.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires — generally several years. Support correspondence is kept while it remains useful for handling your case. Marketing contact details are deleted when you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. Advertising identifiers expire on the schedule set out in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any message, or by writing to us. Email support@celaza.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including the right to know what categories of information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information as described above. Residents of other US states with comparable privacy laws have similar rights. Exercising any of them will never result in worse service or higher prices.
International transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside the United States. Where information moves across borders we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place to keep the level of protection consistent.
Security
This site runs over an encrypted connection and access to order data is restricted to people who need it. No system is completely secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach ever affected your information, we would tell you.
Children
Celaza is intended for adults. We do not direct this site to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us at support@celaza.com and we will delete it.
Cookies
Cookies are covered separately in our Cookie Policy, which explains how we use them, which categories are optional, and how to change your choices at any time.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
