Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. They let the site remember things between clicks — what is in your cart, whether you are signed in, which options you have already chosen. Most sites cannot function without at least some of them.
What Celaza uses them for
Strictly necessary
These keep the store working. They remember the contents of your cart, keep your session alive as you move between pages, secure the checkout, and record your cookie preferences so we do not ask again on every visit. They cannot be switched off, because without them you could not complete an order. Most expire when you close the browser; the one that stores your cookie choice lasts up to a year, so that we do not have to ask again.
Analytics
These tell us how the store is used in aggregate — which pages people land on, where they leave, whether a page is slow. We use this to fix what is not working. We do not use it to work out who you are by name, though it does involve information such as your IP address, which some privacy laws treat as personal. These are optional and typically last up to two years.
Marketing
These measure whether an advertisement led to a visit or a purchase, and allow relevant advertising to be shown to you on other websites. They are optional and are not set unless you accept them. They typically last between a few weeks and a year.
Accepting these means limited information — a cookie or device identifier and the pages you viewed here — is shared with the advertising platforms we use. Several US state privacy laws treat that sharing as a "sale", "sharing", or "targeted advertising", even though no money changes hands. You can decline them when you first arrive, or turn them off later at any time. The section below sets out every route open to you, and our Privacy Policy explains the practice in full.
Cookies set by others
Some cookies come from the companies whose services we use rather than from us directly — our ecommerce platform, our payment providers, our analytics tools, and, where you have accepted marketing cookies, the advertising platforms we use to run and measure our advertising. Those companies set their own cookies under their own privacy policies, which we would encourage you to read.
Choosing what to allow
When you first arrive you are asked what you want to accept. Nothing optional is set before you answer, and pre-ticked boxes are not used.
You can change that answer whenever you like, by any of these routes:
- Open Cookie settings — reachable from every page — and switch marketing or analytics off.
- Browse with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled in your browser. Where the law in your state recognizes that signal, we treat it as a request to decline marketing cookies for the browser and device you are using.
- Email support@celaza.com and ask us to opt you out. We confirm within 24 hours on business days.
Several US state privacy laws describe this as a right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Whichever route you take, the effect is the same: no marketing cookies, and nothing shared with advertising platforms. Opting out will never affect your price, your delivery, or how quickly we reply.
Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies directly, usually under privacy or security settings. Blocking everything will stop the cart and checkout from working.
How long they last
Session cookies disappear when you close the browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period — usually somewhere between a few days and two years, depending on their purpose, as noted under each category above — unless you delete them sooner.
Changes
If our use of cookies changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
